Yes — the sunrise and sunset paddles are excellent for birdwatching. Herons, egrets, kingfishers and pheasant-tailed jacanas are common year-round, and migratory species arrive roughly from September to November, making that a prime season for birders.

Where is it, and how far from Sigiriya rock? +

We're on a quiet stretch of Thalkote (Talkote) Lake, a short drive from Sigiriya rock fortress and the main hotels of the Cultural Triangle. We send an exact map pin once your trip is confirmed.
